Building on the success of the
EMSA 07 conference, which was a first for Australia, EMSA 08 continues
to be unique in both South Australia and the nation The
disciplines of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Nursing and Pre-Hospital
Emergency Care are collaborating to bring this conference to our colleagues
across the emergency healthcare spectrum.To be held over an evening and two
subsequent days, EMSA 08
will bring outstanding educational, networking and practical “hands on”
experiences, as well as exposure to all the ‘newest and best’ products for

three professional colleges in South Australia
ACAP: The Australian College of Ambulance Professionals
represents represents the professional interests
of, and is the representative body for ambulance officers, paramedics and
other pre-hospital care providers Australia-wide. The SA branch of ACAP
hosted the highly successful national ACAP conference in Adelaide in November
2006, attracting approximately 450 delegates & around 40 trade
companies.
ACEM:
The
Australasian College for Emergency Medicine represents Emergency Physicians,
and has a long standing history of promoting emergency medicine education and
collaborative emergency care delivery in SA. ACEM joined with CENA to present
EMSA05 and EMSA06, both of which attracted close to 100 delegates and
considerable trade support.
CENA: The College of Emergency Nursing Australasia (preceded
by the South Australian Emergency Nurses Association) represents emergency
nurses from remote areas to major metropolitan E.D’s. CENA-SA has also had
long experience in running emergency nursing educational events in SA, with
the 2004 CENA National Conference in Adelaide attracting 200 delegates. College
